Convoy Global Holdings Limited (Convoy) is the leading financial advisory firm in Hong Kong with thousands of professional financial consultants in the Asia Pacific region. The Company focuses on financial advisory, financial product manufacturing and FinTech, and provides a full portfolio of financial solutions to customers with over 1,000 financial products, including insurance, pensions, asset management, properties, retail brokerage and lending services. 

Challenge

On top of the existing extensive financial products provided, Convoy aims at becoming an all-round international financial services enterprise by exploring the opportunities of Fintech. The Company would like to announce their new direction and gather fintech industry players, including well-known associations and start-ups from overseas and Hong Kong, to have fintech knowledge exchange and strengthen their leading role in the field.

Strategy

A one-day conference “Beyond Finnovation” was held in early 2019 to provide an environment for participants to discuss the ever-changing development of Fintech ecosystem in Hong Kong in various aspects including operations, marketing, payment and overseas expansion such as:

• Competitiveness of Finance-based and Technology-based start-ups within the market 
• Experience of business expansion for fintech companies

Beyond Finnovation brought the key players together to discuss the latest Fintech development in Hong Kong

• Attracted over 200 participants including finance professionals, industry experts and academia
• Invited and managed speakers, supporting organizations, community partners and participants
• Provided a platform for experience-sharing and networking with leading local and international Fintech companies and industry associations including HKFTA, Cyberport and HKSTP etc.
